Darren Levy

Journalist
Broadcast and New Media

I graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Music in May, 2007.

The skills I learned in class were supplemented by my work at NYU-TV. I started there as a Master Control Operator, playing the tapes that broadcast to almost all the NYU residence halls. After a year of dedication, I was promoted to Segment Producer and Editor. In this position I created "Campus Flash" segments. These are short feature pieces about NYU.

I also worked at WNYU--NYU's radio station. I was everything from Newscaster to News Director. While there, I hosted a unique and informative arts talk show, Citywide.

Currently, I'm an Associate Producer for NJ.com & SILive.com.
